cathedral ceiling lounge and kitchen extension - Angus Glens

the works required the partial refurbishment and extension of an existing 1960's bungalow, the additions provided the client with a new highly insulated and significantly glazed, open ceiling living space with view to landscape and sky on the south westside of the existing dwelling. An enlarged and enhanced kitchen/dining space was directly connected to the new lounge, providing the option for the dwelling to be used as a three bed rather than the existing two bed layout.

the new works were carried out alongside the upgrading of the thermal performance,  ventilation and service of the existing house - a model for 21st century retrofit to make sub-standard domestic dwellings fit for use now and into the future through careful selection and specification of upgrades and revisions

optional 3D modelling during design development assisted the client in envisaging and understanding the proposed alterations before commiting to proceeding with any permissions or construction - the final scheme can often exceed expectations when carried out by good local contractors.
